THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Final Destination
Kallar river – Kallar is about 50 km from the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram, and the river is well known for its abundance of attractive, round-shaped boulders and pebbles, especially in the upper reaches and middle portion of its course.
Kovalam Beach – The swaying palm, a long coastline, a lighthouse on the shore, clear waters and far away horizon is the perfect description for this place. Best place to enjoy the beauty of the hiding sun.
Agastya Mala – The mountain range has the name of the great sage, Agasthya, one among the saptharshis. The hill-station is also famous for its rare herbs that are of high medical value that are found on the slopes of the hill.
Poovar Island – In the southern tip of Trivandrum lies this small village. The place was established as a trading centre in the early times is now a central tourist destination.
Shanghumukham Beach – The silvery white sand, a never ending coastline and tranquil waters away from the hustles of the city makes the beach serene. The Jalakanyaka– Mermaid sculpture which is about 35 m long is an added attraction for the visitors.
